Well, the befuddled bear came to me during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene’s rampage across western North Carolina. He, like most of the communities in the area, looks like he’s been through a lot, especially with his shell-shocked eyes. I thought he could be relatable to anyone who feels overwhelmed, which brings us to the holidays. A lot of people are struggling right now, so I’m going to donate most of the profits from the sale of Hope Bear t-shirts to the recovery efforts in Asheville and the surrounding areas. We all need some Hope.
